Frequently Asked Questions
What is Fantasy Sports League 365?
Fantasy Sports League 365 is a year-round multi-sport fantasy league where you draft participants across multiple sports and earn points based on real-world results. Instead of focusing on just one season, you build one roster that competes across the full sports calendar.
What do I draft?
Depending on the event, you'll draft either teams or athletes. NFL, NBA, NHL, and soccer events use teams, while golf and tennis events use individual athletes.
What is a Community League?
Community Leagues are pre-built multi-sport fantasy leagues that anyone can join. Instead of organizing a group and creating your own league, simply join an open league, participate in the draft, and compete against other players.
What is mixed sports fantasy?
Mixed sports fantasy is a format where one league includes events from different sports in the same competition. Fantasy Sports League 365 uses this cross-sport format so one roster can score across football, basketball, golf, tennis, and more.
What is a multi-sport fantasy league?
A multi-sport fantasy league allows you to draft participants from multiple sports instead of just one. Fantasy Sports League 365 combines events from football, basketball, golf, tennis, soccer, and more into one continuous competition.
Is this fantasy sports with multiple sports in one league?
Yes. This is fantasy sports with multiple sports in one league. You draft one roster and compete across a schedule that can include major events from several different sports.
How is Fantasy Sports League 365 different from traditional fantasy sports?
Traditional fantasy leagues typically focus on one sport and one season. Fantasy Sports League 365 lets you draft across multiple sports and compete year-round. Strategy focuses on selecting strong participants across the full sports calendar, similar to how cross-sport fantasy leagues reward broad sports knowledge.
Can fantasy sports be played all year?
Yes. Fantasy Sports League 365 is designed for year-round play. Leagues can include events across multiple sports throughout the calendar year, allowing competition to continue far beyond a single season.
When can a league start?
Anytime. League commissioners choose the draft date, so leagues can begin whenever your group is ready. Some leagues start before major events like the Masters or NFL season, while others start at any point during the year.
What sports can be included?
Leagues can include major U.S. sports such as the NFL, NBA, MLB, and NHL, along with golf majors, tennis majors, top soccer leagues, college tournaments, rugby, and other global sporting events.
How many events can be included in a league?
A league can include anywhere from 1 to 22 events depending on how long you want the competition to run.
How many teams can join a league?
Leagues can include anywhere from 2 to 12 fantasy teams, depending on the commissioner’s settings.
Do I manage one roster for the entire league?
Yes. Each team drafts one roster that competes across all selected events in the league.
How does the draft work?
The draft takes place online with customizable pick durations and optional daily draft hours. Pick timers can range from 1 minute to 4 hours, allowing leagues to choose a pace that fits their schedule.
Are odds provided during the draft?
Yes. Odds are available during the draft to help guide strategy and participant selection. Some odds come from daily data feeds, while others are calculated and refreshed on a longer cadence, typically around monthly updates.
How many picks can be made per event?
Leagues can allow between 1 and 4 picks per event depending on the commissioner’s settings.
How does scoring work?
Points are awarded for top-4 finishes in each event. First place earns 7 points, second earns 5, third earns 3, and fourth earns 1. If multiple participants tie for a position, the points for those positions are combined and divided evenly.
How does scoring work in golf or other events with ties?
Ties are common in golf and similar events. When multiple participants tie for a scoring position, the points for the affected finishing places are combined and divided evenly. Fractional points are allowed.
What happens if no team selects the winning participant?
If none of the top finishers were drafted, no points are awarded for that event.
Can participants be traded?
Trading is not currently supported. The focus is on strong draft strategy across multiple sports.
Is there a cost to create a league?
Yes. It costs $120 per league to run the draft, manage the league, and provide standings updates. In a 12-team league, that works out to about $10 per person.
What can I win?
Prizes are determined by each league. Many leagues play for cash prizes, trophies, or bragging rights.
Any strategy tips?
Successful teams often balance predictable favorites with high-upside participants. Understanding multiple sports can provide a competitive advantage.
